Terms and conditions.
Bookings policy:
Provisional bookings are subject to availability; i.e.: should we have limited availability, only confirmed bookings will be accepted. Provisional bookings are not available to reservations between 20 December to 10 January (travelling dates) Full names of guests travelling and pre-payment will be required to convert the status from provisional to confirmed.
Bookings made less than 30 days prior to arrival will be held for a maximum of 72 hours Last minute bookings will be available only if confirmed by email or phone calls and full payment will be requested, if not able to pay at the exact time our reservation team will have the right to ask attached copies of your passport as the reservation evidence.
Payment Policy:
- Full payment will be required 30 days prior to arrival.
- Copy of proof of payment is required and sent to the reservations team in order to confirm booking.
Cancellation policy
Once a deposit is made and a reservation is confirmed, the cancellation policy of Mikumi Planet is applicable to the package that was offered.
Cancellation of booking or failure to join a tour will result in retention of funds as described below:
- If any member of the tour indicated on this reservation submits a written cancellation 30 days or more before the departure date, Mikumi Planet will keep 20% of the cancelling party’s reservation fee and refund the rest of the package price.
- If a cancellation is made between 14 and 29 days before departure, Mikumi Planet will keep 50% of the package price.
- If a cancellation is received less than 14 days prior to departure, 100% of the total package price will be retained and all outstanding payment will become payable immediately.
- If the party that cancels their booking is able to find a replacement who fills out a separate booking form at least 14 days before departure, they will not be charged any fees. However, if a replacement cannot be found by the 14-day mark, the party cancelling will be charged a 100% cancellation penalty. It is important that a replacement is found in a timely manner to avoid any fees.
Refund processing fee:
When a refund is being processed, clients using Visa, Amex, or Mastercard will incur a 5% fee for credit card transactions. On the other hand, for refunds processed through bank wire payments, bank fees will be applied.
