A day trip from Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park promises a thrilling and unforgettable experience. Departing from your hotel at 5:15 am, you will take a flight at 7 am to Mikumi Airstrip. On arrival at 8:10 am, you will be met by a driver guide who will brief you on your game drive.
The game drive takes place in a 4x4 modified safari vehicle in the Mikumi National Park, allowing you to get up close to some of the most magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. From the open-sided vehicle, you will enjoy a comfortable journey through the African bush, with the chance to see elephants, giraffes, lions, buffalo, zebra, and even the elusive leopard.
At midday, you will stop for a picnic lunch in a shady spot with a nearby waterhole, providing the perfect opportunity to watch animals in their natural environment. After lunch, you will continue your game drive, and then take a flight back to Zanzibar.
