Tanzania boasts both the largest and deepest lake in Africa, yet opportunities for canoeing safaris are relatively limited for visitors. Canoe-based game viewing is only available in a few areas, namely Arusha National Park, Lake Duluti, and Lake Manyara National Park (depending on water levels). It's important to note that these safaris are limited to lake environments and last no longer than three hours. Our canoeing operations at Lake Manyara National Park were initially established after El Nino caused significant flooding in the park, making a canoe an ideal method of game viewing.
