DAY 1: MOSHI – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
The tour will begin at 5:00 am from Moshi or 6:30 am from your hotel in Arusha. The journey to Serengeti National Park will include a drive through the Ngorongoro conservation area and a quick breakfast stop in Karatu. During the drive through the conservation area, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a game drive. Upon arrival at Serengeti National Park in the early afternoon, you will embark on a game drive until sunset. Serengeti is renowned for its diverse wildlife, including herds of buffalo and wildebeest, elephants, giraffes, eland, impala, and Grant’s gazelle, as well as lions, leopards, and other predators. Your accommodation for the night will be at Serengeti Heritage, where dinner will be served.
Day 2: Game drive in the Serengeti, then stay the night at Ngorongoro.
After breakfast, you'll go on a game drive in Serengeti National Park with your lunch box. You'll follow the animal migration to the Northern Serengeti, where you'll see wildebeest, zebra, a topi hartebeest, eland, antelope, hyena, and many different birds singing in the trees. You'll also be able to see the beauty of the landscape and nature. After lunch, you'll continue to see animals in the Serengeti as you head to the park's entrance to check out. Once you're out of the park, you'll see more animals as you head to Ngorongoro Crater.
Day 3: Visit the Ngorongoro Crater before departing for Arusha.
After breakfast, descend into the crater with a lunch box and enjoy a six-hour game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the world's most densely populated African wildlife habitats, home to an estimated 30,000 species, including some of Tanzania's last remaining black rhino. The crater sustains a diverse range of species, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and enormous African elephants, thanks to a year-round water supply and feed.
Another major lure to this beautiful national park is its large predator population, which includes lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard crater floor.Drive back to Arusha in the late afternoon.
