04:45 AM – Hotel Pick-Up
Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and transfer you to the SGR train station.
06:00 AM – Train Departure
Board the modern SGR train departing from Dar es Salaam to Morogoro. Enjoy a comfortable and scenic ride through the Tanzanian countryside.
07:40 AM – Arrival in Morogoro
Upon arrival at Morogoro SGR Station, you will meet your professional safari driver-guide who will be waiting to welcome you.
08:00 AM – Transfer to Mikumi National Park
Drive from Morogoro to Mikumi National Park, passing beautiful landscapes and views of the Uluguru Mountains.
10:00 AM – Game Drive in Mikumi National Park
Arrive at the park and begin your safari game drive. Mikumi is well known for its open plains and excellent wildlife viewing. During the game drive you may see elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, wildebeest, hippos, and many species of birds.
01:00 PM – Picnic Lunch
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park at a designated picnic site while taking in the natural surroundings.

Continue exploring the park and searching for wildlife across the famous Mkata floodplain.
04:00 PM – Drive Back to Morogoro

Board the SGR train for your return journey to Dar es Salaam.
