Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Udzungwa Mountains

Pick up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam early morning and drive to Udzungwa Mountains National Park (approx. 5–6 hours).

Arrive in time for lunch, then enjoy an afternoon nature walk or relax at the lodge surrounded by forest views.

Dinner and overnight at lodge.

Day 2: Udzungwa Hiking – Transfer to Mikumi

After breakfast, enjoy a guided hike in Udzungwa Mountains to the famous Sanje Waterfalls. This hike offers stunning scenery, tropical forest, and chances to spot endemic monkeys and birds.

After the hike, transfer to Mikumi National Park (about 1–2 hours drive).

Evening at leisure, dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Full Day Game Drive in Mikumi

After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park.

Explore the Mkata floodplain, often compared to the Serengeti, where you can spot a wide range of wildlife including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and more.

Picnic lunch inside the park followed by an afternoon game drive.

Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 4: Mikumi – Dar es Salaam

After breakfast, enjoy a short morning game drive (optional).

Later, drive back to Dar es Salaam with arrival in the afternoon.

End of safari.
