Train Schedule

Tour Description

Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Morogoro – Mikumi National Park

Your safari begins with an early transfer to the train station for your morning departure to Morogoro. Upon arrival, your professional safari guide will meet you and drive you to MikumiNational Park (approx. 1.5–2 hours).

You will start with a game drive on arrival, exploring the park’s rich wildlife including elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and possibly lions. Enjoy lunch in the park followed by an afternoon game drive.

Dinner and overnight at your selected lodge.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Mikumi

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day safari experience in Mikumi National Park.

The park is famous for:

You will explore different areas of the park with picnic lunch inside, maximizing your chances of spotting wildlife throughout the day.

Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart Mikumi and transfer back to Morogoro for your return train to Dar esSalaam.

Arrival in Dar around late morning, marking the end of your safari.
