Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Mikumi National Park
Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Tanzanian countryside toward Mikumi National Park.
Arrive in time for lunch, followed by your first afternoon game drive. Expect to see giraffes, zebras, elephants, and possibly lions roaming the famous Mkata Floodplain.
Dinner and overnight at your selected lodge.
Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Mikumi
After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive exploring different areas of the park.
Mikumi is home to a wide range of wildlife including buffalo, wildebeest, hippos, and over 400 bird species. The open landscape allows for excellent wildlife sightings throughout the year.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive.
Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Morning Game Drive – Return to Dar es Salaam
Start your day with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active.
