Day 1: Morogoro – Mikumi National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from Morogoro, followed by a scenic drive to Mikumi National Park. Upon arrival, you will proceed directly for a game drive with picnic lunch inside the park.

Mikumi’s landscape is often compared to the Serengeti, with vast plains and excellent wildlife visibility. Expect to see a wide range of animals including elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and possibly lions resting under acacia trees.

In the late afternoon, transfer to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 2: Mikumi National Park – Morogoro

After breakfast, enjoy a half-day game drive exploring different areas of the park. The morning hours are ideal for wildlife viewing as animals are more active.

You may visit the famous hippo pools, where hippos and crocodiles can often be seen alongside various bird species.

After the game drive, return to the lodge for lunch and begin your journey back to Morogoro, arriving in the late afternoon.
